Gate B8, operated by Gateway International Ltd., respects the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting their personal data. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, how it is stored, and the rights of users, in accordance with applicable laws worldwide (including GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California, and LGPD in Brazil).
2. Information Collected
We may collect the following categories of data:
- Identification data: name, email, date of birth, and account information.
- Profile data: profile photo, interests, preferences, saved trips.
- Content shared by the user: posts, comments, images, and other materials uploaded in the community.
- Device and technical data: IP address, operating system, device type, language, and app usage statistics.
- Geolocation data: used exclusively to show the user’s position on maps during navigation. This information is not stored or shared.
- Photos: uploaded by the user for profile identification or publications. Stored only for these purposes.
- Microphone: used exclusively when the user records and sends voice messages in chats. Not used otherwise.
- Biometric data: used solely to enable easier and more secure login (Face ID, Touch ID). No biometric data is stored by Gate B8.
- Push notifications: used to send functional communications related to the user’s activity (updates, reminders, community interactions).
- Payment information: processed securely by app stores or authorized providers. Gate B8 does not store credit card details.
3. Purpose of Processing
We use the collected data to:
- Provide and improve the platform’s services.
- Generate personalized travel plans using AI.
- Enable community interactions between users.
- Ensure secure access and prevent fraudulent activity.
- Manage subscriptions and in-app purchases (including consumables for additional trip planning).
- Comply with legal obligations and app store policies.
4. Legal Basis
Data is processed based on (i) user consent, (ii) the execution of a contract (provision of services), (iii) legal obligations, and (iv) the legitimate interests of Gate B8 to improve the platform and ensure security.
5. Data Retention
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described or to comply with legal requirements. Users may request the deletion of their data at any time.
6. Sharing of Data
We may share data with:
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, technical support, and payment processors.
- Third-party APIs integrated into the platform (e.g., flights, accommodation, translations), limited to what is strictly necessary.
- Authorities, when legally required or to protect the rights and safety of users and the platform.

Data may be processed on servers located outside the user’s country. Gate B8 ensures that international transfers comply with applicable regulations, using standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is entirely secure, and users assume the risks inherent to online services.

Our services are not directed at children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 may only use the platform under parental supervision.
11. AI Services
Some functionalities rely on Artificial Intelligence. The information provided by AI is for guidance only and should not be considered professional, legal, or guaranteed advice.
12. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Gate B8 offers both subscriptions and consumable in-app purchases:
- Free plan: includes limited trip planning generation.
- Premium subscriptions: unlimited planning and exclusive features. Renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Refunds follow app store policies.
- Consumable packages: one-time purchases of additional trip planning generations. These are non-transferable and cannot be restored once consumed.
13. Changes to the Policy
Gate B8 may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
